I started my valentine decorating, and crafting today:) We normally don't celebrate Valentine's Day at all, but I want to this year. I want to celebrate everything possible (okay within reason). Now that I know what it is like to miss being with David on special events and holidays, I appreciate the little things in life. My kitchen is getting a heart makeover.

Brooke, Kassy and I decorated little mailboxes with heart stickers. Now we have a place to put all our valentines:) Then we made crayon hearts to hang in the windows. We grated crayons up, ironed them in between pieces of wax paper, traced hearts, cut them out, and then tied them up in the window with string. And they are SO pretty, I absolutely love them. I have a feeling I am not going to want to take them down.

I got to skype with David today!! Which is always a nice to be able to do:) I miss him a lot. The first week went by faster than I expected, and now I feel like time is going by so slow. I have to be careful about wishing my time in life away though, still trying to live and enjoy today.
