Happy Valentine's Day!!! Brooke and I started our day with our mommies group at church. We meet a few new friends, and made lots of pretty crafts:) We ran a few errands, and then meet Katey for coffee and brown milk at Brooke's and my favorite place:) We ran a few more errands, and then Brooke and I had a Valentine's lunch at a little pizza by the slice place. Brooke is a cheap date; our tab was a little over $4. She is so much fun, even though we do have an occasional battle of wills. We then went grocery shopping, and then came home. Nothing fancy, but we had a good day.
We talked with Daddy today:) He got his Valentine video message we made for him, and that was sent to his email. Brooke didn't end up saying much in it. But she really loves, and misses her daddy. She was really shy when we made it, and was thrown off by the guy who was filming all the videos. I kept telling her to say hi to Daddy, and blow him a kiss. Brooke nestled into my arms, and looked at me like, "that man isn't daddy." She didn't know him, and to top it off he was wearing the same uniform daddy wears. Oddly enough, this is the first year I have ever celebrated Valentines day.
